Who Are We?
Next Robotics is a non-profit organization located in the Edith Wheeler Memorial Library in Monroe, Connecticut. We are led by students, which lets us have a closer bond with our students.
We provide classes and mentorships for combat robotics teams comprised of youth from 5th to 12th grade. Our hands-on approach focuses on fostering problem-solving skills and creativity, and offering vital experience into Computer Aided 3D Design and entry-level Electrical Engineering.

What We Do
We teach many concepts fundamental to combat robotics, including but not limited to CAD, electrical components, and competitive strategy. We maintain a safe environment working with batteries, motor controllers, and 3D printed or custom-machined parts designed by our students. We place the emphasis on making our students independent on us to create great things, so they can achieve further experience in the tools we use (namely OnShape).
We also cover strategy for competitions (of which we attend quite a few!), which will become more important as we begin our own competitive league.
